Rear Disk Swap vs. GSR Brake Swap vs. 5 Lug Swap
I still have rear drums and wanted to do a rear disk swap. So after thinking about that, I thought why not do a GSR brake swap, and then I thought what about a 5 lug swap? See where I am going? LOL.
My car is for street, occasional track weekend. I've got Omni power coilovers, soon to have ST sway kit, so I wanna do the brakes next.
So what, in your guys opinions, is the best bang for the buck?

My opinion is do none of them. Rear disc will not help you any (I have them and can't tell the diff), GSR brakes are the same calipers that come on all integras (except type R) so don't get too hyped up about them, and 5 lugs are just a waste of time on a EF. Just get some good pads and rotors and your good.
i would like to add that while rear disks do not help you in performance they are easier to maintain, they are not worth the hasstle imo but if you really want the "look" go ahead and do your swap based on what you can find the cheapest. because really it doesnt matter

x2
plus a rear disk swap adds 16lb of weight to your car.

The only reason I did my rear disc swap was because my OE Honda rear drum brakes finally took a dump after 200K. I had all the stuff sitting around, so why not? It'll be easier to do brake work down the road and man, it makes my car look SUPER DOOPER FAST!!!11!!
if you're going to do a brake swap, I would suggest doing both front and rear with GSR brakes, MUCH cheaper than a 5-lug conversion.
I think I may do a GSR swap as my rear drums are old and my [freak]ing e-brake just seized up today!
I'm assuming the fronts are remove and replace. For the rear can I use parts from a DA and/or DC?

For the rears you can use both DA and DC.
For the fronts, as long as you use the 90-91 Civic EX Sedan front knuckles or DA knuckles you can use DC components on there. Or you can swap a whole DA front brake swap and you'll be ok too.

Thanks for all the info guys.
So I guess if I am gonna do the disk swap, either find the rears alone, or do the whole GSR swap.

I'm in the same boat as you are. My rear drums are starting to poop out and I'm pretty sure the drums can't be machined down anymore so I found a dude selling a set of DA front/rear brakes and a 40/40 valve so I'm gonna go ahead and swap them out.
And before I put the DA ones on I'm gonna go ahead and replace the wheel bearings and bushings and stuff too on them

^^ Good plan. I think I may follow suit and do the same. Do you mind if I ask how much you got all the parts for?
