broke bolt to old spark plug cover

broke bolt to old spark plug cover
like it says i broke those stupid bolts to hold down the spark plug cover 
, the washer looking peice is still there, I plan to replace it,
question is in the mean time can i drive around like that or is oil gonna come out threw the bolt hole and into the wires and have a mess?
