FS: B16A for $1k in IL - AS IS
I have a B16A swap package that was installed into an EG about 4 years ago, never fired, was pulled back out, and has been sitting ever since. Some parts are missing, most notably the distributor, oil cap, and valve cover nuts. There are probably other small pieces missing.
I have no idea why this never fired. It has been a long time, but if I remember correctly we found that the intake cam was off by a few degrees. The swap was purchased for $3500 from a local shop which never took responsibility for the motor and ended up going under after many lawsuits were brought against them. The swap was originally sold as a JDM 50k or less mileage swap, however no documentation proving this was ever provided.
What you get is the following:
B16A long block, tranny, half-shafts, wiring harness on the motor plus a spare, and a modified P28 ECU
I want to make this as clear as possible: THIS IS ALL BEING SOLD AS-IS. Assume that the motor has "something" wrong with it and does not run.
This would be a good purchase for someone wanting to tear the motor down for a NA or turbo build-up project, or take your chances and try to make it run on a budget.
Located in Bloomington, IL - you pick up.
$1,000 obo
PRICE SLASH! now $500 this thing has to go!!!
