Default 400hp street car... A/C belt keeping ripping apart. any suggestions??

so H-T, as the title says, my car has a/c, p/s, cruise control.. etc. i continue to have a problem with my a/c belt continuously ripping apart after a month or 2 of daily driving. my alternator belt has already been replaced as well, but nothing near as often as my a/c belt. I've basically accepted this as a normal maintenance that I have to do to my car every so often.

my question here is, have any of you here experienced this same occurance? meaning, is the boost factor here the problem where the motor may be spinning to fast where the compressor belt just doesn't catch up or something and starting eating away at the belt? is there an aftermarket belt maybe that can withstand the abuse of daily driven boost? (no I'm not ever hitting boost with the a/c on, just fyi)

comments/ suggestions are greatly appreciated.

that is defenately not ok. check where your wastegate tube is routed to. there was someone locally that kept on breaking belts every week, his watsegate was blowing hot air almost directly on them. also, make sure your pulleys are aligned. check to see if your damper is tightened all the way so it does not stick out.

i have the orignal 13 year old a/c belt on my car with no issues. either you are applying to much tension on the belt or you have a pulley missalignment issue.

what kind of crank pulley do you have? is the tensioner on the a/c belt loose/worn out?

its extremly odd that just because you have a turbo that the belts are shredding every couple months unless you have a open wastegate dump tube that is blowing hot exhaust gas right onto the belt somehow?
