im planning on doing a ls/vtec build..anyone have any suggestions on what i should use in my block and what i should do to the head..this is gonna be a mild n/a build..i have JE 12:1 81.5mm pistons and a LS block bore 81.5..i wanna push out ATLEAST 190-200...should i just do the pistons and stock ls rods and just focus on head or should i beef up the block and just fresh up the head?? this wil be my first build so dont hit me too hard..

 

if you are doing a budget build, at least do arp rod bolts with the stock rods...

figure out what your budget is and go from there... the trick for the most part to hit 190-200 is in the head...
