im shopping b20s alot of sites offer the engine with the short manifold or the long style also called giraffe,i have been searching and the only facts i can come up with is that the long runners came on the awd models,and short on the front wheel.all sites selling these motors list both options but have no real differences listed,performance or anyway

I understand that is there any different performance between the manifolds

 

the general rule of thumb is that longer runners promote better low end torque with less top end, and vice versa for shorter straighter runners.
