93 900 Cbr, when I shift the the pedal it feels loose; How do I determine whats wrong? How do I change the Problem? My gearbox does not feel as tight anymore.

 

change the oil using MC specific oil. Problem still there, take it in to the shop.

 

Depending on the problem, it could be as simple as a worn return spring. It could also be a trashed gearshift drum, in which case you're looking at a lot of labor to pull the motor and split the cases. Take it to a REPUTABLE shop and have it checked out, if changing the oil does not make it feel any different.

Is it linkage slop (probably) or gearbox? I say check all the pivots are tight and not worn out. Otherwise invest in some rear-sets, that will get you a better riding position and fix the slop
