who says you cant get a decent project for a grand...
I have been out off the scene for a few years. now i'm back in. i recently got a 96 integra special edition for right around a grand to do a winter build. The car itself is in pretty good condition. Here are some pics, car has not been touched yet...








I'm lookin to have a 300whp daily driver. I have already ordered tein flex full coilovers, ITS sway bars, skunk 2 upper adjustable control arms and rear camber kit. skunk2 rear lower control arms, skunk 2 intake manifold and 72mm throttle body. BM short shifter, brembo slotted/drilled rotors. right now im looking for a second motor to build. then all the turbo stuff will come.
good deal.. hope everthing works out. wich turbo set up are you gonna purchase. also wich motor? if you do get those skunk2 upper controlarms im willing to take those stock control arms off your hand. lol

ya how the heck you buy that teg for 1K? was it threw family/friend/neighbor??
nice parts list so far.. need to drop that beast asap! and maybe swap out for black interior?

The car has 140,000 on it. It runs amazing. EVERY body panel still has the honda vin sticker on it. It has only been in one accident and it was a minor rear end collision. My younger brother had the car sitting around, he bought a new jeep and they werent gonna give him **** for trade. he called me up and said do you know anyone who wants my car so i jumped on it. it needs a little bit of work. Brakes and a windshield (crack across the bottom). Its so hard to find a unmolested teg for cheap. esp in this kind of condition. I want to stick with an ls motor. I am picking one up saturday from a kid in syracuse and its getting dropped off at the machine shop to be sleeved on monday. As of right now i'm doing a ton of research for the best turbo set up for streetable power. Any suggestions?

haha yeah im not f-ing around. i want it street tuned for 300 and be able to push it over 500 on race gas. i have the time/money so for once im going to do a car 100% the way i want.
