parts from a 00 civic 4dr into a 98 civic hatchback would they fit?? ((yes or no))
I have a question, My mother has a 2000 honda civic 4dr which was crashed from the drive side and the insurance came and checked it out and put it as totaled so the car has been siting in my yard like for 3months already full of dirt and etc.. The civic has 54,xxx original miles, she didnt drive it that much... Ok so my question is that I am thinking of buying a 98 honda civic hatchback and I was wondering if I can swap the engine and gauges from her car into the hatchback without no problem. I also like the front bumper from her car, if i was to swap bumpers will I need the fenders, headlights and hood? Or I just switch bumper and thats it? Thanks guys.
From what you want, the engine and gauges are a direct swap.
If you want the 00 bumper, you'll also need the fenders, hood, headlights and grille. To make it a better fit, you'll want the fender stiffner and radiator support.
What color is her car, by the way?

to do the swap you will also need to mod the core support a bit to clear the wider grill from the 99-00 bumber
