Default Crower Rods in H22???

has anyone used crower rods in there H22..... how did u know which bearings to use, i am aware that you have to cross reference the crank and the rod itself to determine the bearing... but how did u compare the Crower rods to OEM specs???
i couldn't find anything in the "Bible" about it, maybe i looked in the wrong place, but does anyone know.... help me out guys

hers's what to do. measure the rod journal, big end of rod (inside with the cap on)and bearing thickness. add the readings from the the rod journal and bearing (measure just the half ) and the add the big end of the rod and bearing thickness. subtract both of the readings and that should be your oil clearance which is

h22a1 0.027-0.055mm (0.0011-0.0022)"

service limit 0.060mm(0.0024)"

call crower and ask them what size they come in. It should be a standard size that they start from.

boosted97 on my engine I used stock honda bearings all clearances checked out withing specs. I used all green color bearings so far so good I had them running for a little more than two years already daily driver and raced at the track. try a new set of green color bearings and do the measuring and then plastiq gauge it to ge your specs of clearance then go to the next rod and so on. since green is in the middle of the range that will give you a good base. if you're too big or too small then you'll know you have to go to the next size (color). hope this helps.
