busted shocks, oil and rubber everywhere
i bought some blue tokico shocks and springs (suspension kit) and had them installed at my job at a dealership. a few days later, i noticed my front was bouncing quite a bit. i jacked it up a few days later and there was oil or something on the shocks and the plastic liner in the fender. also, the long rubber piece that goes over the shock is destroyed. anyone knows why this might happen?
Your shocks blew..... Was it a Tokiko spring & shock kit or springs and struts/shocks that you put together yourself?
For example if you take a 1.75" or 2" drop racing spring and try to use it on a shock/strut that is set to have a 1" drop in ride height you will blow the shock. Oil goes everywhere and you are left with no dampening at all, just the bounce of the springs.

really need some help here. anybody reccomend some good shocks that wont take a dump after three days? the kit was for a 1.5 inch drop.
