ok so my shift linkage feels like **** and i need to replace some stuff (obviously). now i dont have everything in this picture and idk if i need it all?

i have everything BUT:

6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 27, 22, 29, and 21.

so do i need this stuff? did your guy's cars come with that?

i dont need 3 obviously.

and what did you replace (if you did) ?

 

Maybe a screw got loose or bushing is going out. Or if you want the easy way out, just replace the whole shift linkage.

 

yes you need every part in that picture for your shifter to function properly and feel the way its supposed to , honda doesnt just add parts cuz they want to


if you dont have 8 thats a big reason why it feels bad, that goes around the lower ball in the shifter where it pivots 6 7 11 are rubber dust boots, 9 goes under 14 under the car to hold everything up

 

hey man, I had the same feeling with my shifter, and it was making a squeaking sound to. All I did was tighten the Number 25 bolt on the diagram, it feels like new now

all you got to do is go to the dealership and tell them you need a shift link bushing kit. they will supply you with everything you need.
