91 ef si chassis with b16a and s1 cable tranny.

Axle boot was ripped, so replaced axle with a 91 integra axle.
Also had to remove dust seal for this axle to fit.
Now car viberates under accerleration?
What could cause this?

This is drivers side, also change half shaft and all bolts are tight.


The weird part is the old axle did not have to have the dust seal removed, but this new one did.


Any ideas?
and what axle should i be using?

 

9 times out of 10 when a car vibrates there is an egg in a tire
check the tires but if it isn't the tire maybe the shaft isn't alighed right??????

i know the del sol had a bad cv shaft and it made the car vibrate but it was just in the steering

 

i checked all tires and rotated them there all good.
i mean i changed the axle and it starts vibrating.

Can somone measure how long there axle is on there si with b16a s1 trans.

 

what half shaft are you using?? This determines your axle application!

The dust shield must be removed when using the integra ls axle. Thatwon't cause vibration so don't worry. Sounds like that axle is no good. Sometimes rebuilt axles suck. Brand new ones are the way to go

 

the best way to find out is to remove both axels and make the the joints and lubed good and make sure when you install them, install them correctly torque everything down and see what happens. ive messed that up alot. sh*t happpens lol

 

x2 on the rebuilt axles....I would rather get one from the junkyard if a new one wasn't an option.
