recently my dash has been goin crazy on it.. it saying that my door is open and my seatbelts aren't on.. well thats how it startd.

about a week later, i plug the seatbelts back in under the seats, and now it is messd up even more, it tells me i dont have my seatbelts on and door open when i hit the brakes, and when i hit the horn..

now to add to the confusion, my brake lights have recently gone out.. car needs inspected this month and well it wont pass if i dont get that fixd

any ideas where/what to look at? im assuming i have to gut the interior to check all the wiring, was hoping there was a better solution though

check your horn fuse in the underhood fuse box. My frined used to have a 91 crx and his brake lights stopped working changed all the bulbs, new switch on the pedal, and it was the horn fuse.

 

ok i go check that now... my tail lights use to work before i realised the horn was gone, once i tried to hit the horn and it just stopd and the break lights went out

 

h224thgensedan is right i had this problem becouse of someone leaving leaving hot wires under my dash from an old alarm the horn/brake lights fuse went out and i swapped 15A fuse

 

wow thanxs alot... i forgot about the fuses under the hood... changed the 15a fuse and horn/brake lights work again thanxs!!!

not sure if seatbelts work or not yet... doin other thing to the car atm and its not driveable
