Default Weighed the Rex...

Stats:

88 CRX Si

-
Sohc ZC
Lighter Wheels
Removed carpet, spare tire, jack, a/c
Aftermarket Suspension

+
I weigh 155
Had tools in trunk with my autolock and school bag with some books
Approx 8.5 gallons in tank

Weight was 2200 exactly with me in it.

And yes, I want a cookie

My question is, 2011 the stock dry weight?

Update: reweighed (pg #2) 1980lbs

Bump. Just want to double check on the stock 88 Si weight that is floating around. I have heard 2011 and 2017--are these dry?

I've been wondering this as well. bump for someone who's been to the scales

btw, don't you have the + and - switched? Your lighter things subtract weight oh yeah, don't forget the special lightened, hacked up seats

I have done some looking and it appears 2017 is the weight of your car. The factory give this weight in dry weight with no fluids

I see 2017, not bad. I am calculating my dry weight around 1960 maybe a little less.

aptyk88--1940 is impressive. Did you remove your engine?

It looks correct now. I could've sworn you had them switched last time I looked though.

Is the ZC really lighter than the D16A6??

That's weird. Supposedly, your stock dry weight: 1990 Honda CRX Si MT 2174

My 88 CRX Si weighs 1870lb with 1/2 tank of gas.

Full interior
-Race seats that weigh a little over 25lbs with seat rails
-minimal exhaust exits under car
-momo steering wheel
-AEM intake
-Enkie RPF1s
-no front swaybar
-ASR hollow rear bar
-aluminum lugs
-no AC
-no radio
-no spare tire
-light weight battery
-DC header
-aluminum bodied shocks
-UR crank pulley

That's it for weight savings. Nothing else has been removed from the car.

last time i weighed my car it was a little over 1900lbs

91 crx hf
nothing from the seats back
b18c swap
it was super low on gas when i weighed it
i only weigh 85lbs so yeah.....

to be honest i think its all about the scale you use, i weighed my car at one scale and it said it was 1700lbs.

i want to find a scale that is proven to be 100% right on to the exact pound.

That's awesome man! Best power to weight ratio

I want to go back and reweigh it.

This time I will do it without my book bag, tools and my chuck taylors that I forgot were in my trunk. I will also be stepping out of the car as well.

I'm not sure if I am really loosing any weight with my wheel/tire combo though. I have Kosei K1's wrapped with 205/50/15 RE750's. I know the wheels themselves are lighter than stock by 5 lbs, but my tires have a beefier carcass than standard 195/60/14's. Although, stock tires have a significantly bigger sidewall...

I also have del sol seats which are supposed to be ~20lbs and stock seats weigh ~35lbs. The A/c is what, 40 lbs? Then the carpet is 2 lbs if anything. Spare and Jack are maybe another 40lbs? Gas is 6.1 lbs per gallon and I know for a fact that when my gas needle is sitting on the bottom of the gauge, I have 1.9 gallons left--which is when I will go weigh it next (hopefully tomorrow).

Oh, my duracon shift **** probably saves another 1/2 lb? hah!
