Default lowes plumbing insulater tape

Well I wanted to put something more powerful to lower my temp inside my intake. By using this tape forgot which or exact words. I know that it has the regualr foam and them metal outside of it it being for house pipes. Now when I start up my car here in CT where it's like 30f outside. My car is quicker to warm up, better throttle response. Also i made sure it's flame proff being I held flame for 30 sec under lol. Overall to me it's better version than buying cheap thin thermal tape from autozone. The only thing is I wonder if it will also do the effect in summer to block out the heat??/ though all good here it's an great thing to do. I will give the link for the tape itself..
