you got 2 choices it seems. 92-95 si or a 99-00 si. 96,97,98 civics didnt have the si trim. atleast that's what i came up with...

In Canada, the Si model equals the US EX model. The US Si model equals the Canadain SiR.

From what I have read Canada's si version is the equivalent to US's ex civic. I could be wrong though.

OP, as mentioned, the model name is Si. The engine is the D16Y8 (1.6L SOHC VTEC). It's very similar to the USDM Civic EX coupe. The US also gets the same trim as a sedan, but Canada does not.

I was surprised to find out you guys don't get one! lol Then again, you have the EL up there, so it evens out.

'99-'00 Si taillights are THE SAME as any other '99-'00 US coupe. They look basically the same as all other '99-'00 coupes overseas too, though some countries might be missing some reflectors or have added lighting.

'99-'00 coupe taillights (including the Si) can fit with no modification on '96-'98 coupes.

If you start looking at other '99-'00 coupes, you'll see that the DX, EX and HX all came with exactly the same taillights as the Si.

I've had '99-'00 taillights on my '98 EX coupe. Both sets originally came from an Si actually. The first set came from a friend's blue Si and second set from a guy online who owned a black Si. I've since gone back to some '96-'98 taillights, though I'm not sure which year and trim my current lights came off of.

Actually, I was surprised to find out just a few months ago that you guys don't have the EL!

lol The EL is a Canadian model only. The Domani and Isuzu Gemini was sold elsewhere though (Asia and Europe).

We didn't get heated mirrors or seats or anything like that though.

The OP was correct in calling the US Si an EM1. In Canada it's called the SiR. It has a B16A2, 1.6L DOHC VTEC with 160hp/111lb-ft.

The car he posted (the one he wants) is an EJ8. In the US it's called an EX. In Canada it's called an Si. It has a D16Y8, 1.6L SOHC VTEC with 128hp/107lb-ft.

He does not want the Si/SiR (EM1) with the DOHC engine.

All of this has already been correctly answered before you bumped the thread though.
