I just bought a 95 accord LX with 60,000 miles. When I am on the highway in D4, going 60-70 or so, and I let off the gas, the tach drops to 2,000 rpms for a split second, then jumps back up to 3500 rpms or so, and makes noise like I have an intake... (the car is bone stock). I was just wondering if this is normal or not. Should this car coast pretty well at those speeds, or should I have to keep my foot on the gas pretty good on the highway? I have a feeling that this is killing my gas mileage. What could be wrong?
