Yep, just shorten them. and glue the ends back on.

I just used some selve tapping sheet metal screws to screw them to the bottom of the car.

Some guys only cut one end.

Here's our car with them on. I believe just the fronts were cut.

you might want some front mud flaps if not cut correctly...they will cover up the cut marks

Here are a couple of my old car. I bought it with the side skirts on, so I'm not sure if they were cut up. But they do look better than stock sideskirts imo

heres what sideskirts you use:

96-00 civic coupe on a 92-95 coupe.
96-00 civic 4dr on a 92-95 4dr.
96-00 civic hatch on a 92-95 hatch.

very easy, NO cutting or other mods needed. just line up the clips.

my friends and i have all 3 different versions of 92-95 civic [coupe, 4dr and hatch]
and we all used 96-00 sidekirts to the corresponding model.

wtf, i didn't cut them at all. They lined up right, its just that only one of the white clips plugged in. you have to make sure to use ALL the little black plug/screw thingys on the bottom of the old side skirt. The holes for those match up.

All '96-'00 Civic sideskirts (coupe, hatch and sedan) are the same exact length. The top of the sedan ones look different though. By that, I mean the top section that lies flat against the bottom of the car. It's different so that when you open the rear doors on a sedan, you won't see a gap on the top of the sideskirt.

Coupe and hatch sideskirts are exactly the same, right down to the part number.

if they're the same length...

one of my friends ek coupe sideskirts would'nt fit on his ek hatch [short].
how do you explain that?

plus my other friend have an ej1 and an ek hatch sideskirts did'nt fit [too long] he had to get ek coupe sideskirts.

the same ek hatch sideskirts didnt fit my 4dr. [too long]

i tryed to install EK sideskirts on my EG but coupe ones to sedan, not cool, i made one side and when i thought that i don't like the gap at the rear doors, then i removed them.

anyway, no cuttings involved!

The best way to go about it is to test fit it on your car and go from there. Find out how much needs to be cut and so on.

I'm guessing he messed up.

They ARE the same. I promise. Here, Honda even agrees.

Right this instant!?

I have 99 Civic CX 3dr sideskirts on my 99 Civic CX 3dr.

I have helped put on EM1 skirts on a 92 Si. We cut the front section a bit, and slapped on some mudflaps. VOILA!
