Default Pusher AND Puller or T-stat?

Well, after attempting to fix over heating issues I am still having problems. My current cooling setup is a Fluidyne EG half radiator with a 12" slimline 3000 CFM pusher fan and no T-stat. After boosting for a while my CRX still starts to overheat! Should I take my old slimline and do a dual fan (pusher and puller) setup or install a T-stat?

Try just doing a puller set up first. IMO, pushers impede flow throught the radiator more than they help it. Also, did you bleed the cooling system to get any air out of the system?

okay basic physics. u r using a fan that pushes theair. it needs to pull it. think about it ur driving 55 mph that fan needs to push air against all that incoming air. im not real familiar with the EG radiators but it should be a dual core rad. so turn the fan into a puller. next i would drain the coolant and refill the system and bleed it. chances are u do have air pockets in the system as Redline130 stated

U also need a thermostat. the cooling system does not work wide open. its probably also not allowing the coolant enough time in the radiator to cool down. get a mugen or OEM thermostat

You NEED a thermostat for the radiator to do its job. Otherwise your cooling system will be heatsoaked.
