OEM rings on CP pistons?
I'm rebuilding my engine so I got all new OEM seals, bearings and piston rings.
Then I got some used mint 81mm CP pistons at a good price.
Quick question: can I use the OEM rings on the CP pistons without a problem?

maybe the oil rings and second ring. but i do believe the top/compression ring is thicker on the factory piston.
forged pistons typically run 1.0mm thick top rings.
OEM pistons are typically 1.2mm thick top rings.

That's good to know. Thanks!
Also, the OEM rings I bought are different from the ones I pulled out of the old pistons, the oil ring that is.

Top is new OEM, Right is Old OEM and Left is Old CP.
Notice how the new rings' 'ripples' are oriented differently.
Comments?
BTW the car is a '96 JDM Integra Type R

Seeing as Honda and CP do not make rings, you need to figure out who they were buying from at the time. Different manufactures use different styles.
