Did you remove the 1st bottleneck? I got T1R header, carsound cat and magnafloe muffler on stock catback and it sounded sickly until I got rid of the bottleneck.

RIght after the cat, you will find that the b-pipe is about 1.75 inches in diameter, and the rest of the catback, with a few exceptions, is about 2.25 inches. From the 2.5in cat to 1.75in b pipe is a huge bottleneck. I took my b-pipe to big al's and had the front of the b=pipe cut off and replaced with a flange and tube the same size as the rest of the catback. The butt dyno and ear dyno liked a lot.

i think the N1 was so loud that he has lost his hearing, and therefore, everything sounds the same...

There must be something wrong, I used to have the Spoon N1, it was so damn loud. That is the reason I changed it out for something quieter.

At the H-t meet yesterday, I heard a PY ITR with Spoon N1 axleback, and it sounded nice. Not very loud IMO. I think everything else was stock... Love the sound of the Spoon axleback..

You must now sell the muffler to......well......ME.....

I'd like to see and hear this in person....most N1s I have driven are exceptionally loud even with stock header/cat/catback....

I installed my spoon N1 (old style) with the T1R header and carsound cat and it sounds anything but stock....
Not really too loud though. I was surprised. I guess once I heard the buddy club spec2 and drove around open header for a few days, not much sounds loud.

After using the typeone, the Apexi n1 sounds so quiet now. Almost stock!
