Default Key won't turn...

Alright so I go to start my car today and the damn key won't turn... after messing with it for a bit it turns and the car starts. I get to work and try and turn the car off, and the key it stuck in the on position. So after F**king with it for awhile I get it to turn off. Now everytime it's the same situation...

It's acting kinda like the steering wheel is locked but it's not... And it's bending my key trying to turn it off, I have to actually leave it on the 1st dot instead of turning it all the way off.

Any ideas?

Sound like your using the wrong key. I have done that with my car a few times. Having 3 honda keys that look the same on the same key ring sucks

Only car key on the ring is my rex... it's never been the wrong key...

I'm sure zrickety is probably right. Won't I need a whole new key and lock assembly?

It could be either or it could be your key is worn and lost its shape so its getting stuck or it could be that your switch is on its way out.If you can find a switch with a key swap it. If not take the switch out and take it to a locksmith it could just need a little grease and a new key. Good luck on this one.
