i dont think so. i bought a hybrid for my b16 in my crx and i think it included the b18a and the c5 was a different intake all together

it's the other way around, as ryanevansoh said the AEM cai for our cars is repeatedly listed as fitting the B16A and B18C but this eBay item claims to be for the B18A as well : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...67021

The hybrid AEM cai comes in two sections though (i dont know enough about the different engines) but if our intake manifolds are within 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch to to eachother the two rubber sections will bend and flex to fit.

why spend all that money, just get a cheapo intake. its just a pipe and a filter. i'm using the ebay cai i bought for my d16 on my b18b now, it works just fine.

I would agree.. although i bought an AEM hybrid cai.. I used to have a 97 Saturn SL1 and the ebay intake I bought for that didnt have a spot for the air intake sensor, or mounting brackets to keep it sturdy

well if it had been a honda not a saturn your iat would be in the intake manifold, and you wouldn't have that problem

Some people like nicely painted intakes, with nice filters that aren't going to rust, and can be reused many times.

Ebay intakes make sense up front, but they come with horrid clamps and couplers, not to mention the "chrome" finish looks terrible after awhile.

i'd just rather spend good money on something thats actually going to affect driveability, performance, etc. i could throw on some pvc pipe and screen mesh as a filter and it would do a pretty darn good job. course i dont want something which looks THAT ridiculous lol. the clamps and couplers really are not all that bad. they have a job and they do it just fine. they weren't designed to clamp with massive amounts of force, or contain boost pressure. also the finish on mine looks just fine considering its seen some dirty conditions. the only point you could argue really is that the filters aren't the best. but nothing is stopping you from going out and getting a k&n filter if you so choose.

i ditched the filter that came with it and used my AEM filter. you can grab and use other quality air filters too.

yea but for all of us california people those hybrid intakes ARE NOT CARB LEGAL. so we are kinda stuck, unless we wana keep swapping in the stock filter system when its time for smog. i have a D-series AEM intake on my LS/Vtec crx just so if i get pulled over cop sees a CARB EO # and doesnt say anything.
