ok so from what i've been able to search up i need to swap the dizzy from the y8 internals to the z6 because of the connector plug.

Then i am going to use my y8 manifold because it laying around and the major differences is that the location of the IAT is different.

Then i am going to use a jumper harness with a chipped p08 that got remapped as a p28.

So will the z6 plug up to my y8 harness with no problem? Or am i missing something?
And for the dizzy, is there anything specific i gotta look out for? I think the mounting points are different so i have to use the z6 body with the y8 internals... if not please let me know. Thanks

 

I believe the harness plugs right in, and you have to wire up vtec. I am sure there are alot of write ups on this. try searching.

 

Use the y8 manifold the the dizzy everything else is plug and play.

 

i did search but the search is just to general. and alot of unrelated things pop up.

So false info from the first guy about wiring vtec?? Do i have to swap the internals from my y8 to the z6 distributor or does the whole thing fit as a whole? after some searches i found some guy said the mounting for the dizzy are different so i will have to swap it.

as soon as i get the z6 i'll find out one way or another and i will update for future references.
