haha i just swapped harnesses, that's for sure a d16z6 (or similar obd1) harness. it looks just like mine, i can take pics of the one removed. and that's an evap purge solenoid plug. I'm running it with my jdm d15b though.

Most OBD-1 B/D harnesses are the same. Only difference is the MAP sensor and IAT placement.

The one you have is weird. The IAT sensor is where a D series should be , but the MAP sensor is integrated into the harness. Maybe Z6's have the MAP on the TB too, IDK for sure. On My 92 DX hatch, I had to reuse the MAP plug from the body side harness.

EDIT: and its NOT a JDM harness...

yeah the map sensor is on the TB for z6's the TPS and the MAP are on the same "branch" on the harness.

Yeah, i know that's a OBD1 VTI but don't know the car/year.
Have checked almost every year B16/B18 haven't found any with the correct colours.

Haven't checked on the D series because it had to be a vti.(As seen on the loom)

So it's a D16Z6 loom, D-manuals here i come.

Just checked the colours for the evap on the D16Z6 manual, and they are the same. (Yellow/black-Red) But all other colours are different.

Today with the multimeter a final check. Hoped it would be easier...............

Btw: Don't need the purge solenoid valve? So the connector is not used afterall?
Looked with search for the evap but a lott have removed them, so the connector stays empty.
----Cut and tape/connect to standalone purge solenoid?
