Default K-Pro for 06 RSX-S

What is all needed for installing Hondata K-Pro with the K20Z1? I know that you can buy it with an adapter harness, but do I need to go get an 02-04 ecu as well?

Also, I was checking out Toda Camshafts and saw that there is a kit that comes with k-pro. Anyone know anything about this?

Why does everyone ask hondata questions when all of the info is on http://www.hondata.com?

yep i do believe you need the 02-04 ecu, and the jumper harness.

also i guess your cruise control can [freak] up too with the kPro on 05-06

So how do I go about getting an 02'-04' ECU? And how much does it cost? It seems like K-pro is going to be pretty damn expensive.

Could be worse. For a 06+ Si to be Kpro'd you need to run dual ecu's and switch to thottle cable.

an easy thing to do is if you look on hondata's website you can send them a k-pro ecu for an 02-04 and they can convert it for another couple hundred bucks. So if you find a good deal on an already k-pro'd ecu even if it's for the 02-04 you can have in converted for your car. Or just start searching all the k websites

if not u r gonna have to buy a 02-04 types ecu which is usually around $300-350 plus the cost of k-pro so at the end ull prob spend around $1300-1500 that includes the jumper harness

to make things quick and easy for the o2 sensor I'd also get the o2 wire extenders. Or else just unclip the o2 sensor and ziptie it to make it work.

with the mods you have you would see a little more power. but if you got some cams, then you have to have it to see their full potential.
