NEED help ...Puzzled!!!
OK i have a 2000 civic si and something on my tranny broke that holds my shift linkage rod on the tranny to shift and im not sure what it is... i know its a sort of rubber bushing does anyone know the specific name? or wut i should do

Piece 2 = "shift rod boot." You can buy a new shift rod boot at bkhondaparts.com and other oem online sites. Go to bkhondaparts.com and it is shown under the tranny components.
Or your local dealer may sell it to you. Should be under $15 wherever you buy it.
Do you need a manual for figuring out how to replace it, or what at this point? There are a few resources for free online manuals, starting with autozone.com's free repair manuals section. The autozone Honda manuals are mostly excerpts from the factory service manual.

2 is a dust boot. i believe what your refferring to is the "bitch pin" it goes through the shaft and holds the shifter and rod together.
