Tires are 255/35/18 and two of them have decent wear on them.

Man I know the price sounds good but 18's will look way too big, I wouldn't go with anything bigger than 17's that's just me.

 

that was my initial thought, maybe I just want someone to say "yeah, it will look great and ride nicely" just because of the price. but I know that's not the case.

 

18's r ugly and those wheels r ugly... did sumone order a side of riceee...

 

i personally wont go over 16's on a 92-00 civic. it just looks way too big

 

i would let it pass. 18's dont look right, especially those. 17- ftw

haha yeah im waiting for a good deal to come my way for some new wheels. possibly getting some HX's or something to start off with and get me away from steelies/hubs lol

 

Yeah I would say nothing over 17 inch, this is my old 99 Si and these are 17's with 205/40/17 tires and they fit perfect with no rubbing , I had 18's on it at one point but it looked odd

although those 17's look slick on your ride... that picture instantly tells me I would look like a jackass in my ex with 18's....

 

How about this, buy them and then sell them to some unsuspection xB owner for more than what you paid for.

Plus, I don't think those tires are 255 wide.

 

Don't even think about it. It will ruin the car overall.

 

I have light weight 18's and they look good on the car, but my car has a wide body kit on it which gives it a different look. Here's the link to my garage.

18's would look hidieous on a civic. Plus 255's will rub whenever you hit a bump, or turned. I tried 255's on my STI, with more space for the tire/rim, and it rubbed in that car.(with stock BBS 8.0in width rims.)

 

I would stick to 22's!

 

aside from looks, they will KILL your performance. i had a set on my si at one point and time (then i found this site) and switching from those back to my stock si rims, i could feel the difference.
and raced a car that beat me with the 18's on and i turned around and beat him just by swapping the rims. and it wasnt a close race the first time, he smoked my by about 8 car lengths then i got him by 1 he had a 95 supercharged gxp swapped montecarlo with boltons. (street racing i know, but the closest track i can go to is over 100 miles away)

 

I'd agree with that, It's all in the weight really.

 

Too big for your Civic.

Save the $200 and put it towards some 15-17's that you actually like.

Biggest I'd go on a civic is 16".

1. Buy
2. Sell
3. Profit

 

Take that **** to eBay...

 

I might do that, use the profit to buy some nice 15's.. he is parting the whole thing out.. asked him 6th vin digit he said a 6.. less than 100k on it.
