KNOCKING!!HELP!!!

Default KNOCKING!!HELP!!!

ok my cv joint boot had cracked so i bought a slip over one from autozone and put it on but it didnt work so well lost a lot of grease put more in
but now i hear a knocking when i turn left even a little.
and when i stop completely and start to go again i hear a knock!
do i need to replace my whole entire CV Joint or will puttting more grease in and sealing the boot work???/
i need help this is my only car.,,,, and im really broke!!!!

make sure its all the way in??
i havent taken it out
i have been having problems with a quick boot....
keeping grease in it...
so im sure thats the problem
but how to check and make sure that the axle is all the way in...
i would do what?

Those quick boots are junk!

Once the axle is knocking then the cv joint is wearing. If you put a new boot and grease on it it may quiet down a little.

Replace the entire half shaft like previously stated. Do some research locally, call small auto parts stores. I know a place near me where I get them for $30.(sorry source cant be revealed)

a half-shaft would be an intermediate-shaft... not present on a d15b7. so i'm to assume you mean he should replace his axle

replace the axle and check the engine mounts for the clunk sound when you start driving. you can put a half shaft and short axle in from a 89 integra duel cam d16

DOHC d16? you mean B16?

No he means DOHC D16 not a B16. its from the first gen Integra box with flip up lights.
