well i've got a vtec prob i've never seen before. basicaly whats going on is i can hear vtec kick in at about 4 to 4500 rpms before the car reaches temp. after it gets to temp no vtec. would this be an oil pressure prob? i've got no cels and its the only thing that comes to mind just did an oil change and cleaned the solonoid screen.

planning on installing a vtec light just to be sure its not coming on any help would be greatly appreciated.
