Default 4x114.3 to 4x100 adapters - yes? no?

okay so i am fed up with the lack of wheel designs to choose from for my gf's 4x114.3 accord, but i've seen these 4x114.3 hub to 4x100 wheel adapters on ebay..

does anyone have any experience with these kinds of adapters? or are they just terrible accidents waiting to happen?

so many nice wheels in 4x100!

thanks!

Which wheels can you not find?

Most of them ARE available as 4x114 is in Preludes and 96 JDM ITR's. Not too mention quite a few Nissans and what not.

As to the specific question, there's a few people running them (for use as a spacer not adapter) but they're essentially the same. Bolt onto hub and it acts as a spacer/converter.

Those are the ones I've seen, I can't imagine the 4x100 converters being any worse.

i am specifically looking for this style of bronze wheels in 16":

the closest i can find to that wheel is the Rota SDX. i've talked to JLBMotorsports to see if they might help but they said i would need to order 20 wheels just to get them in 4x114.3..

i was looking at the Rota Grids too (1 less spoke), but those dont seem to come in 4x114.3 either..

i tried to do some research to see if konig might make similar wheels but i didnt find anything and thats where i gave up

Ahhh gotca.

Major bummer on not finding the wheels. But the people I know running those spacers don't seem to have any issues. I probably wouldn't track the car with them, but other than that you should be good.

Those spacers are alright. I have them on my 6th gen and they've been holding up pretty well.

You'll be fine. Even on track with proper torque specs.
