Default Help Installing Flywheel dust cover!

I'm in the process of rebuilding the d15b2 in my 4 door right now and for whatever reason having trouble with the flywheel cover. I'm not exactly sure how I took it off it was a couple of weeks ago. The problem is when I'm trying to put it back on it won't fit unless I take the oil pan out, then when I put it in I can't get the oil pan back on. I'm so confused they both WONT fit together. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help.

Slide the shield from the firewall side of the trans to the front, it will wiggle right in. Also would help if you had it at an angle to slide the flywheel shield on.

Does the oil pan go on first or the dust cover?

Yes, all you need to remove is two of the 10mm bolts on the Oil pan, there is no need to actually remove the entire pan.

Ok, thanks guys for clearing that up! I'll get right on it as soon as it stops raining. Thanks for the help.
