My b18c1 pan came right off.

Be absolutely certain you're not forgetting any bolts.

i missed this step the first time i took my oil pan off. just have a friend hold it while you give a "slight nudge" to the side with a rubber mallot

the liquid gasket or whatever honda uses can hold the oil pan pretty well. What i did was i removed all the bolts, hammered it a little bit and then just ended up getting a screwdiver and wedging it in and pry it off. After a while it just popped off.

be careful not to overtighten the bolts when you put it back on.....just snug them up.

The GSR pan that was on my swap was freakin cranked down by the dumbass who didnt replace the gasket and thought he would stop a slow pan leak by tightening the bolts as tight as he could. Needless to say, it bent the metal insert and over time started leaking like a SOB.

I ddint replace mine and it hasn't leaked. I didnt overly crank them but I made sure they were tight enough.
