when it is warm the idle is fine...

well i don't think it's normal that it should drop that much when i realease the throttle... it almost kills the engine... goes down to 200-300rpm...

well it can run without pressing the throttle...
but im sure the is not how it should be since the idle falls so low when i release the throttle + the cold idle rices form about 400 to 1500rpm... 1500 is a bit high..

why doesn't my d16z6 do the same then?

it can't be normal that the engine almost dies when i release the throttle, i can hear the engine makes a cough like it is dieing...

it's hard to hear on the video but it is right about :17

Maybe the IACV is sluggish? Maybe its just dirty? Try cleaning it out, and see if that makes any difference.

i got the same issue when my d series is warm.
once you release the throttle it drop to 300 rpms and stutters a bit before going back up to idle.
sometimes when coming to a stop i press in the clutch the rpms drop to 300 and car stalls.
just idling by itself it is okay and does not fluctuate up to 1500 and down to 800.
