Default Misfire Issue

I have been having a misfire issue with my car for the past week or so and it seems to be getting worse. Now the misfire only occurs when the car is cold or has been sitting for a few hours. It only happens on a cold start, then after it warms up the misfire with go away. But i keep throwing cel's for a cylinder misfire. Please help me out!

*EDIT*
I have already replaced wires, plugs and checked the ignition timing.

Ok, i replaced the entire distributor (i have the lifetime warranty from auto zone lol) with a new cap and rotor. It only does it when its cold so i havnt really had a issue so far (fingers crossed) but i would still like some more imput just incase it does happen again.

Ok, its still misfiring but only when the engine is cold. I have changed out my injectors, map sensor, cleaned out my iacv and adjusted my ignition timing and its still misfiring. I have no clue why its still doing it.

what kind of plugs are you using/ have been using?

When's the last time you have the valves adjusted!? Also what engine are we talking about?

Its a d16y8 with 2700 miles on it. I just rebuilt the motor a month ago and the problem started occuring about week and a half ago. I just installed brand new ngk's gap at stock spec. The valve lash was done after the motor was broken in, stock specs as well.

only other thing would be to check compression... on a cold engine

did you strip the cyl head? fan switch and coolant temp sensor maybe mixed or it's bad and reading hot all the time making it run bad at colder temps?

I wouldnt think that its the compression, it only does it at a cold startup and after it warms up the engine runs flawlessly. It runs and pulls 100% better than it did before the rebuild. But i relooked over my wiring because i do have a apexi neo wired in, i found nothing out of the ordinary, but i started the engine again on a cold start and i threw two check engine lights, one for cylinder 1 misfire and cylinder 2 misfire. So im guessing it has to do with a sensor going ape **** or somethings messing up with the ignition system.

The thing is also, it only started doing this maybe a week or two ago. So its pretty recent that this started occuring. I have some people telling me that it might be my fuel pump going bad, but it runs fine after warming up so i dont know. Can anyone give me some feedback on whats going on? Im taking the car in tomorrow to the dealership and see what they can do.

Ok, i took the car to Honda today and let the "Pro's" take a look at it. Well after about 6 hours of leaving the car there, i finally got a call from them and they said that maybe the fuel injectors are sticking open when the car is first started. So im going to pick the car up tomorrow from them and im going to be ordering a new set of OEM injectors and a new fuel pump from majestichonda.com and see what happens from there.

Alright i put in the new injectors and im still having the problem, but after spending some time looking around and troubleshooting, i found out that the number two injector isnt getting a signal at idle for some reason. I dont have a misfire issue when im giving it gas, only at idle. So i unplugged the injector at idle when the car is running and there wasnt a change in the misfire. So now im thinking that the injector plug isnt getting a connection. My friend has a couple of obd2 injector plugs, so im going to use his and see if it fixes the problem. Ill get back to you guys on the update.
