have a fel pro b18c head gasket. it measures like .050 laying there. what's the crush on these things? i wish i had a stock one to check aganst it since they crush under .030 i can't find a damn thing on the specs for the felpro gasket. it's called an OE replacement and looks like one. i'm just dying to know the thickness since it effects how much i have to deck my head.

 

found my own answer and will post for the archives. the felpro 9274pt is the honda OE gasket. i measured the two side by side. identical. also look identical in every way. they are the same gasket. i would also bet money felpro is making the honda gasket that's sold at the dealership for replacement. same copper rivits, same cuts, same indent, even the little tab for the part number. p30 is stamped on the honda and the tab is blank on the felpro version. before anyone disagrees with me, go look at the two, you'll change your mind.

the felpro is $51 at rockauto. dealer wants $93 for the honda, ebay you can get a honda for $65-70.

 

I know this is an old thread, but i just measured a fel-pro head gasket for gsr. It measured 83.8 mm BORE size. So, some of you looking for oversized head gaskets from cometic or golden eagle, may choose this since you can get it at pretty much any local auto parts store.
