NWP - What sort of weight reduction efforts have you done to your car? Last time I weighed it, my car was slightly less than 2700 with a little more than 1/4 tank of gas. This is an ITR with a CF hood, no P.S., aftermarket header and cat., and Rota Slips (all I can think of as far as reduced weight goes). How'd you get yours over 200lbs. lighter?

-jdm front end (slightly lighter from what I have heard)
-jdm non srs steering wheel
-no a/c, no abs, no power steering
-jdm rear hatch (no 3rd brake light, no wiper assembly)
-my car is 4 lug, so the suspension is lighter
-15" spoon sw-388's
-spoon mirrors
-windshield wipers gone
-removed spare tire and jack
-removed wiper fluid resevoir (if you don't want to remove it atleast drain it cause it's super heavy when full)
One thing that makes my car slightly heavier is the JDM recaros, they weigh quite a bit more than usdm itr seats.
and when I weighed my car I had under a quarter tank of gas. I had all my interior intact as well when I weighed it.
that's about it.

 

My car weighs 2380, with no a/c, p/s, rear seats, misc stuff I didn't think I needed. Link at the bottom to see car.

My GSR weighed in at 2450 lbs without me.

 

2639 pounds, full fluids, no occupants.

Stock.

 

2672, with me, 1/4 tank, no spare.

2618 with me, millenia wheels, JDM header, oddysey battery

 

I have no idea how heavy my car is exactly..

But i'm 50kg

 

I postet this two times before....
My R weights 1200kg including my aftermarket rims, SRS and a/c, 1200kg dry.
Add fuel and lubricants and myself (86kg)



And this is the one with the corrected numbers..
Power, topspeed, height, sound. The car was dynoed, measured and scaled by a government officer. Still 1200kg.

So right around 2500-2600 lbs for an ITR, with some lightening around 2350-2400 lbs. With driver in it (150lbs average, me 215lbs , but I'm 6'5"), the racing weight could be between 2550-2750lbs. Cool that's all I wanted to know, now I can gauge the average 1/4 miles times with some real data.

By the way, I don't fit in a GSR, but are the ITR seats lower, who's the tallest guy in an ITR?

 

my gsr weighs 2525 with me, full interior, stereo and sub.
it weighs 2430 when i remove pass seat, rear seats, sub, and floor mats

my gsr weighs 2630 w/ me in it. no spare or jack, 1/4 tank of gas, full interior

 

I am 192cm tall... that`s a lot. My R is a Euro Type (Recaro seats), but I`m still sittung not low enough..

 

2,680 lbs. w/ me in it (195 lbs.), 1/4-1/2 tank of gas, complete interior, A/C, P.S., 17" gunmetal ADR Spiders (heavy), spare tire & jack(always carry it).

 

2600 even with me in it and no back seats, rear bumper support or spare.

 

2360lbs. w/ back half of the interior gone and 1/4 tank of gas and all listed below except the cf hood.

w/o me in it.

26xx lbs full interior, spare, me and some gas in it.

 

The R holds roughly 80 pounds of gas (6 pounds per gallon, times 13.2), so you can use that to compare the above numbers that have different fill levels.
