Default ek20 or b20block with gsr head

im going to buy a ek hatch in a couple of months and i wanted to know witch set up is better or moter swap is better. one of my friend said a b20 block with a gsr head and type r tranny or gsr tranny and my other friend said a k20 if you guys can help it would be great thanks

all depends on wat u wanna do and how much u wanna spend... stock k20 swap is upwards 8000 to 10000 and a b20vtec swap is around 2500 3000 pretty much stock... a built b20 vtec ur gonna spend the same as a k20...

ill be saving up for a long as time before i do the swap. i saw a b20 for $750. i want to get alot of hp but at the same time with torgue and a daylie driver
