LOUD VALVE TICK AFTER INSTALLING MOTOR?HELP

like it says, when i dropped my motor in yesterday, started it up and it kinda idled up and down and keeps on dying? Not sure what the problem is? And then the valves are ticking so hard it seems like its gonna fly out of the head itself..just a nasty ticking noise..its constant..would a valve clearance help it or what..i dont want to drive it cus it just might die or something..help me

d16z6..obx camshaft..what are the specs on..i just turned it straight up and hoped it turns??
