AEM EMS is a state-of-the-art Engine Management System designed to be used in your vehicle especially as plug-and-play standalone feature. You just need to unplug your old ECU, plug it into the harness-end of AEM EMS, and then plug the harness into AEM EMS, and you are done! No extra wiring, fancy footwork, or hardware required! The software used in AEM EMS can be run on any laptop that uses Windows 95 onwards and features full data logging software and data manipulation/setting software. The wizard allows you to create a base map, irrespective of whether any modification is made or the current state of your car. You can also program any combination of power adders or any type of engine modifications or extras that you want. AEM EMS is just stupendous in engine tuning and management - a feat no other EMS has managed so far.
At the start up, you'll be required to create a base map for your car, which will enable your car to get started immediately. Now, you are ready to fine-tune your car. AEM Engine Position Module (EPM) is ideal to run a coil on plug or a wasted spark ignition. Recently, AEM has also launched their EPM for famous V8 applications, like Ford, Chevy, Acura, and Honda. With precise engine optimal position achieved with the help of AEM EPM, the signals are relayed back to the engine management immediately irrespective of the engine RPM or speed. This easy-to-install EPM requires just 4 wires (12V or power wire, a ground wire, and two main engine crank and cam signal wires) for installation. AEM EPM also offers easy adaptability to any positive-drive and half-engine speed device like a cam or distributor drive. It can also be used with any aftermarket EMS compatible with common 24 & 1 pattern for crank and cam signals.

AEM Fuel Injection Controller (FIC) discounts the requirement for good old FMU units or controllers by allowing retardation of your engine timing. The FMU units operate by tricking your computer into thinking that you are not producing boost. This caused some problems in the cars that were OBD2 or did not have forced induction from the factory. But AEM FIC can tune your car better than FMU units and works alongside your factory ECU. With Windows-based tuning software in place, AEM FIC can make quick changes. The unique aspect about AEM FIC is the user-ability to change the injector pulse width, which is not possible in any other ignition controller or piggyback system available in the market. So, if you want to smoothen your car flow, simply decrease the injector pulse width, which will make it possible to run much larger fuel injectors. AEM FIC also allows you the ability to run up to 6 extra injectors.
