Default ah oh! 2 Ohm on primary distributor coil

I have measured with an Multimeter the ignitor coil. Users manual says 0.6 - 0.8 Ohm for the primary and 14 - 18kOhm for the secondary.

The secondary is with 16kOHM within spec, but the primary with 2 Ohm is way outer spec. I think I have located the problem.

Tomorrow is race time and I still have no distributor or coil.

You are seeing the resistance of the leads of the ohmmeter. The leads themselves have anywhere from .5 to 1 ohm of resistance. That's definitely not your problem.
