Default HELP!!!! I need a radio code

I just purchased a 2003 Acura MDX Touring with in dash 6 CD changer BOSE system. The dealer I bought it from (Toyota) doesn't have the radio code, and they say I have to leave my car with them for an entire day. I can't do that. The serial# is U3001L7941. I looked all over the car for the sticker with the code on it and can't find it. Does anyone have the code? Help me please...driving around with no music sucks. Thanks in advance!!

Unfortunately, your best bet is a Honda dealership. You'd have to just show up with proof of ownership of the car, and probably serial number as mentioned above, and will be able to get your code. Are there any Honda/Acura dealers in your region?

There is the problem. The nearest Honda/Acura dealer is an hour away, and I can't afford to take a day off of work to go hang out at the dealership. The Toyota dealership I bought the car from is next door to them. I have a work order to have it done at the dealership, but the service department is only open M-F 8-5. That's while I'm at work. I found a site online that says they can provide the code if I have the serial #, but they want to charge a lot for a 5 digit code.

Thanks for joining h-t. You have answered your own Question. Either take it to the dealer or buy a aftermarket unit. Also read the tos above.
