Default blinkers

I disconnected the harnesses to my clock/hazard lights and now neither my blinkers, nor hazards work. I tested the harness to the hazard switch, which I believe is part of the blinker circuit and it is getting power. I have no idea how I could have damaged the actual switch its self. Any ideas??

The hazard switch has to be in place for the signals to work.

Did you check the fuse?

I forgot to say that when they weren't working the switch was connected again. I replaced the fuse and made sure the harness was connected correctly to the hazard switch, and still couldn't get it to work
