runnin a z6 with itb's...head gasket?
im just wondering if there are head gaskets that are thinner then stock available? if so is it a good idea and what can i expect for compression increase, .1?
I do believe a y8 head gasket is thinner than the z6. I'm not sure by how much or how much it will increase your compression. It won't be by much though!
could check into cometic.. they have thinner gaskets..
could also use flat faced valves.. they'll increase compression slightly as well.. if thats what you're looking for

I'm not really looking to touch the internals... you don't really get what you pay for on a D... im replacing the timing belt, water pump, and head gasket before I put it in my Si and I figured if there where thinner gaskets why not get one...
Hey, if you want more comp. take a y8 head gasket and remove the middle layer this should be the thinnist head gasket configuration. just curious what itb setup are you using, i've been working on a setup with cbr954 itbs on a y7/y8 mini me with zc pistions and comp stage 2 cam, just need to find a base map or wheither or not greddy emanage is capable of tuning this setup.
Hope this helps
