On my way to UIC today on the train I saw a yellow ITR stripped sitting in this junkyard my train passes everyday to school. As soon as I got home today I google earthed the location of this junkyard. I hope this helps returns a R to someone.

Thanks for the info. I will check out the <FONT COLOR="red">R</FONT> tomorrow and see if there are any usable parts on it.

i hope if thats someone's R, it is at least recovered/returned. too many thieves in chicagoland [freak]in everything up. makes you not want to park your car anywhere.

i emailed the owner of that yellow one that was stolen out of the garage. We will see if its his.

doesn't _seem_ to be mine. it's a CPD tow lot and i called them and had them run the vin and plate. nothing matched. BUT, if someone happens to look at it and notices a sticker of a Hornet on the trunk, then it's mine. unless it's not the chicago police tow lot ...

 

did anyone go check it and get pics?

I actually passed by this place today on my way from work and it is a "City of Chicago Auto Impound" so I couldn't go inside and look at cars.

 

this car has to be vactor's, i took another look today as my train passed by and i saw the bee sticker on the hatch i also saw what looked to be a black em1 si there looked motorless and the wheels were gone

could the theives have swapped the vins so nothing would come up and confuse people? or could the people that work for the impound be in it?
