Ok so I just bought some white regamasters. 16x7, 4x100 with a +35 offset. I drive a 2000 civic ex with tein stech lowering springs. I purchased tires for the wheels yesterday (205/45/16 87W) and when I mounted the wheels the tires didn't clear my back fender. They rub pretty bad. I know its because the offest on the wheels is making them stick out about 1/4 inch from clearing the fender. I don't not have rear disk brakes its just the drum. How do you suggest I fix this problem? Maby go 205/40/16 on tires? I don't want a bad camber in the back where they look like this "/ \" so help me out guys. Not really savy on this subject so don't flame me. Thanks guuuys!
There are a couple things you can do. Roll your fenders some and dial in some neg camber. other then that you can go down to 195/55/16 tires, or raise your ride height. Camber isnt an issue as long as your toe is straight. All the dumped cars on here have to run lots of camber and fender modification along with stretched tires to some degree.
I think you should go 205/40. Another option is to go with Tein H-Tech springs (example) for less drop. I hope you can sell your 205/45.
I once had 15X7 at 35mm and didn't like them and got some 15X6.5 at 35mm.
And as above said, roll fenders.
If you roll the fenders, make sure you paint with some primer inside the fender. You do this because most amatuers who do it, chip/rub off the paint on the inside. So tape off outside of car, and paint inside fender, or metal will be showing and you will have some killer rust down the road.
You can take it to a shop if you want it perfect. Or do the bat method. Its where you roll the innner lip of the fender flat against the sheetmetal. That allows you another 1/2" or so inside the fender for space. That combined with a little camber usually takes care of it.

That's actually quite surprising. That isn't much of a drop, or low of an offset. Do you have pictures of this? a 45 should be fine.
As far as rolling the fenders. Eastwood is the way to go.
IF you do use the baseball bat, make sure you have a heatgun, or even a good blowdryer. The heat will let the fender "roll" easier, and help to prevent chipping paint.
Good luck.

I don't have any pictures of the wheels on the car I had to put my konigs back on cause I didn't want to mess up the tires. But maby cause the tire is a little wider? I went with +35 because that al I could find them in. Regas are hard to come by these days. What is eastwood? Its just for some reason its rubbing on that half inch flare inside the fender. Would a rear disk conversion help at all? I mean I plan on doing it anyway

Not answering for him, but he is a "new" guy. Sometimes people give advise such as, go talk to an (tire) shop expert.
The "shop expert" would say, Yup, it will fit. They don't care if you rub, or stick too far out, or don't look right, or know how the your car is or will be.
Yes, it does fit. But is it right?
Many of us been through that, like I have during my newbie years. That's why discussion boards are great. Because when we ask "Does it fit? We know exactly what you mean."
