S2K noob question
I did a little research on Google before posting this, so don't flame me yet. Now, I'm currently deployed to Iraq and going on my two week leave tomorrow night (thank God!), and I plan on stopping at a local car dealership and checking out an S2K that I've had my eye on for the past few weeks. Basically, what I want to know is whether or not I'm getting a good deal on this. I used to drive a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege and I loved that thing. Now, I know this won't have the takeoff power of my Speed, but the S2K has been my dream car for the longest. So, here's a quick rundown of the stats on the car followed by a link to the dealer's website.
Year - 2003
Mileage - 77753
Color - Suzuka Blue Metallic
Mods - Custom Body Kit, AEM Cold Air Intake, RS-R Magic Exhaust

I plan on test driving it 2 days from now, since that's when I should be home.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The price is on the higher side for having that body kit on there. (15,488 is what there asking)
Now if you really like this body kit then this may not be a bad deal for you. The veilside kit is actually rather expensive, over 2k$. If it were me though I would pass on this one unless they were willing to do <12k on it.

I also think it is too much. You may want to check and make sure the car has never been wrecked also. Sometimes people put a body kit on because they may have had a collision. One more thing, if you do decide to buy this car make sure the kit is authentic Veilside!!!

can you somehow talk the dealer down with that aftermarket parts on it? suzuka blue also seems to be an unpopular color.. and its in winter time, wher edrop tops arent as popular. you have some bargaining chips i suppose
overpriced. you can get an ap2 every once in a while for that price. My buddy picked up a clean title ap2 for 16000 with 70k on it. Never buy a car with a body kit. Unless its from someone on here that you trust.
wayyy too much dude wayy to much ..if im right the paint job isnt even matching. on top of that theres aftermarket stuff on the car just go up to them n say hey ..[freak] u give me a better price or im out. n if they dont...ur better of with a stock one keep looking u'll find one plus..dat s2k was *** ugly n suzuka blue isnt bad just havent been fixed properly yet hahaha lol i drive a suzuka blue
