Default 3M rubbing compound

SUCKS! haha i read project tuner mag and they used clay, 3m and a wax.
i used clay, 3m and a wax and even minor scratches remained! anyone ever use this stuff?

I use 3M rubbing compound every day. Works great. Love their products. Like Knaira said, you're probably doing it wrong.

3M works great, your def doing it wrong. I use the yellow Perfect-it II buffing compound and the 3M Finesse-It Final Finish polish.

powerflow knows what he's talking about, rubbing compound remove deep swirl marks, and it sometimes does leave scratches depending and the cut it has, but thats why you use the final finish polish to remove all those light scratches.
