McLaren Performance buys Comptech
Wow thats interesting. Can the price of Comptech goods get any higher? Maybe they will quit making aftermarket parts all together and stick to where the $$ is. Building motors for race teams. Period.
Interesting. Maybe one day I'll be installing a lightweight McLaren flywheel on my R.
BTW, did you know Tag Heuer and Mclaren teamed up to produce a line of home audio gear? http://www.tagmclaren.com/great/sounds.asp

I'm not sure it's the same McLaren that built the F1. This McLaren is of US origin. Same name, different company. This McLaren had their hand in the Buick GNX, if I remember correctly.
and their name on some early '80s Mercury Capri (Ford Mustang) V8 specials. (my uncle was a Lincoln-Mercury dealer back in the day). See you at the sign of the Cat!!!

No, it's not that Mclaren... http://www.mclarenperformance.com/
Looks like they're strictly an engine builder/machine shop, and a publicly traded company.
